So, without further ado, I finally did a more finalized sketch of my gf's (
checkyoursix) character. She's still working on a name, but the character is genderfluid and uses male pronouns. I'll let her explain the details. Mostly I'm just super pumped to finally have some art that doesn't suck to post.
GO FORTH AND BE NICE TO HER!

Oh, he looks rugged. Tell her she's lucky to be him.
And your prediliction for green comes off nicely here - green is the best color for an oily, indeterminate black (reddish black is warm, bluish black is cool, greenish black is... who the fuck knows. Doesn't blend into black as well as blue, you can see, green and black get strange results. They're my go-to for latex in general <3
And even in the late '90s, when EVERY color was mixed into pure black (this is what the nineties look like to me), they still didn't dare touch green next to black (watch "Zoolander" again sometime, and all the red-black and blue-black gradients are set against a straight poison green in some of the shots). I wish you luck figuring out how to draw him!
