*laughs* I'm assuming that the picture is a commission by one person, to be presented as a gift to another person. I have several of those pending myself, where I'm paying an artist to draw someone else's character as a gift for them. Of course, if you already knew that, I'll just go bury my head in shame and embarrassment into some melted cheese. :)
Very nice. The textures and shading really brings this to life. He looks kind of creepy with the mottled textures on his body, arms and neck, as well as the way his ribs show; but at the same time, the intense, contemplative expression draws him back to being just like anyone else. Wonderful job.
I find that mottled texture seems to make all skin kind of pop out and seem more alive. Of course I keep it toned down on characters and critters that aren't actually mottled XD I do know exactly what kind of texture I need to make the skin look more realistic, but in order for me to pull it off correctly I need my images to be at least 6000 pixles high, and currently my PC can only support 3000, and not very well at that. XD I am going to try and fix that at the start of next year though.
*smiles* Oh, I don't dislike the mottled look. I actually think it's adds a rather cool effect to a character's skin. I'm just saying that the way he's sitting there, with his shirt off and a somewhat foreboding expression, it enhances the creepiness of the character, even if that's not the intent. Heh.
But I can definitely see how a much higher resolution for the picture can drastically change the results of this effect. Either way, a rather impressive picture from you once again. I hope that the people it was done for, enjoy how it turned out.

Both his hair and his skin stood out rather nicely in terms of texture and detail. His hair has a great sense of coloring leaning towards realistic in its appearance with the tones and attention to various stands of it. His skin is nicely shaded for his form and I felt it came out especially well on his wrist and ear as those two parts turned out really spot on for their looks. I also felt you did nicely on his bandages and pants, both having a great sense of coloring while the pants have an excellent sense of lighting and creases where appropriate.
Very nice work on this Synx.

I will forever love this artist and this character. Seeing this was like a blast from the past… and made me realize how old I am thanks a lot :P I love your work, and it was fun seeing something kinda different drawn by you, though don't get me wrong, I will always love your creepiness you are the master of the creepies.
