War is good if your big on pvp, and being able to do fun sudden up and coming raid like quests (open world though), without having to spend hours or even days planning them out.
I for one love it, there are more scenario's in T3 alone than WoW's had for Bg's in it's entire existance.
The game still has it's bugs (it's only a month old after all) but their minor and it's to be expected. Just don't expect the game to be balanced 1v1, every class has it's place to be played in big combats, the game is meant to be team based, not 1v1 based as you simply won't be able to 1v1 against your counter class's.

That's cool. I saw some pictures and heard stuff about the big open world raid stuff which sounds pretty sweet and I like that more since BG's weren't all that great in WoW. I actually like AV in WoW, but they nerfed it to hell and it became a big pile of crap. Still thinking if I want to get it and wondering if it would actually hold my attention as the last few I've tried failed to do so for very long.
Only one way to really find out.
Their are far more "bg" (called scenario's in war) type instances in War. In tier 1 and 2 you have 1 for each race. In t3 you have 2 for each race.
In t4 you have 2 for each race "accessable" at a time unless that races zone becomes 100% controlled by one side or another (the zone goes into lockdown for 48 hours so the other side can't re-capture it, grants buffs to all players in the zone, and once you capture 2 a city siege begins, only happened once on my server but was awesome).
What I mean though by "accessable at a time"
Is that each race has a center zone, one zone and two other zones between their base.
Once the center zone is capture, it and every zone behind it is temporarily locked from being capped, and the side that captured it makes their enemies next zone contested which has it's own scenario. (if that makes sense haha, explained as best I could).
As for open world, it happens from time to time and is great when it does, but not like "all the time" as it did during Open beta, preview weekend, and when the game first came out since everyone was in one place. Though when it does happen it's generally on a massive scale with someone noticing a guild has started attacking, calls allies to help defend which causes the other attacking side to call more allies to help attack, etc, etc, etc, until it's just one massive battle. Loads of fun for me, but some people don't care for rvr that much ;p
