I was presented with the idea of doing a screenshot from Space Dandy which included my commissioners character, his other half and two friends as additions. I wanted to challenge myself to try something a bit different and I love trying to mimic anime scenes as I've figured out how to do the softness you usually get and the grain usually associated with screen captures.
Here we have Dandy bringing two 'new' specimens for registration. Poor Scarlet already knows what they are without seeing them pass through. Xevian is upset that Meow is trying to push Ara through, and Meow is having none of it.
In the background you have Al and Pickle, two friends that he wanted included in the image.

This does bring up an interesting question of human genetics and how it'll change in the far future. Will people eventually be able to look like whatever they want with a quick gene swapping procedure? That's both interesting and scary stuff.
