Yup. The difference is the actual placement of the numbers on a die. On a spindown, they are in order so that you only have to adjust the die slightly to decrease the number by one, to make it easier to keep track of MtG life totals. For d20s, they numbers are more spread out to make it feel more random upon rolling.
I suppose spindowns are actually a type of d20, but some nerds will bark at you if you refer to them as such, or try to use spindowns to roll a random number. But unless you are doing something competitive, it's just nitpicking. There's still only one of each number, after all.
Spindown (19 is next to 20, 13 is next to 12, etc. A path can be drawn in numerical order all the way around the die).
"Regular d20" (Numbers are more spread out.)

Yep. If you want to know if your dice have a random chance to roll any number. Each side must equal to the total number of sides plus one. D6, the six is opposite of the one. That works with every side. It works with every d4s, d6s, d8s, d10s. Even d100s, as long as the two sides equal to 1 above the max number of sides. It's random.
Wow quiet the assortment. And they should sell well to both magic players and D&D fans. Regardless of what people say about spindowns vs randoms they will sell well regardless. Conventions have a lot of both type of players and players love this type of stuff. I have a friend that collects every different dice set he can get his hand on both D&D as well as Magic and has them all in a big display case. People just love unique things and love the idea of getting something unique to make them stand out from the crowd. I can even imagine they could possibly switch dice out and carry their lucky dice with them like this. And I love how many cool dice there are out there for pieces like these as each piece can be so unique.
You have quiet the array and they should all sell very well. As I have seen things like these but the dice were not usable like yours are as you can get your dice out so it serves nice form and function. Thats so huge. ^_^

some of the most beautiful dice out there right now is the Gemini collection from Chessex. I have both a polyhedral dice set and a matching D6 cube from them and i absolutely love them.. plus they have so many color combos its hard not to find something you like. Honestly I would want to order like a few of these slings as gifts for all my pathfinder friends. I'll see who all is interested and message you about that. Here is the main page of the collection : http://www.chessex.com/Dice/Gemini/....._dice_home.htm
