This was something I wrote for Poetry Class back in my senior year of high school. Hearing all the news of Christian people (not all) hating on gay people and spreading lies that the Bible condones such hatred, inspired me to write this.

What the hell is wrong with these people?
And yes, I said hell.
Just cause I’m God, doesn’t mean I can’t say hell.
Jesus, they think I’m some kind of saint or somethin’
Seriously, I’m not a bad guy.
I don’t hate gays.
I won’t get pissed if you pleasure yourself.
Do your thing.
Westboro, extremist, terrorists,
they don’t speak for me.
Since when the hell has anyone ever spoken for me?
Oh wait…

After I read this I immediately thought of the same thing. Was about to post it, too!
I love Bo, and that song in particular hit me pretty hard. I don't necessarily believe in God, but if there was one I would like to think he was something more like that than the fire-and-brimstoners seem to imply. If there is a God, they should promote equality and love and freedom of mind, and survive on love, not scare tactics...
