reference for chirr! they're my furson, though i actually designed them specifically to make a fursuit out of. there are some things i want to add to this ref, but it's late and i need to do school work so i'm submitting this as is for now

i'm calling them a moth griffin because i really don't know what else to call them? theyre a mix of made up mammal traits + dragon-ish nose + moth stuff, so idk.

personality: kinda excitable; nervous and easily startled.

diet: sweet tea, honey, jelly, and other sugary things. they can't digest solid foods, and eating more than a small amount is potentially dangerous as it can block their digestive tract. their tongue is also very sensitive to texture so things like carbonated sodas are uncomfortable or painful for them, though not actually unhealthy.

likes: soft things, naps, plants, insects (the little ones), plushies, stickers, peach nectar

dislikes: velvet, loud noises, spontaneity

clothing and accessories: they wear a green collar with a star on it sometimes. their fur is very dense and they have no trouble keeping warm without clothing, but they occasionally wear fluffy sweaters or other soft clothes for the texture and weight. they never wear shoes

wings: the wing shape should always be pretty much the same but the patterns can be stylized however you like. their wings are covered in tiny feathery scales and feel soft and slightly smooth to the touch. their scales are fairly delicate and may rub off, but will generally grow back just fine. they can't fly, but will often flutter their wings when excited or cold. when resting, their wings are held horizontally, flat against their back. their wings are only held outward when excited, agitated, or stressed. look, i made diagrams because i'm a nerd

other notes: they are chubby with floofy arms and legs and a pretty flat chest. their antennae are somewhere in between moth antennae and big soft feathers.
