*squeaks and smiles*
This wonderful commission was done by the extremely talented
gravewalker as a gift from me to
kashagalilie. Please visit both of their pages for some great artwork as well as fun, charming people.
Kasha is a wonderful person who has had her share of ups and downs lately, and I wanted to do something for her to let her know how much I appreciate all that she does for others, as well as give her something to smile about.
This is for you, Kasha.
I hope that you like how this came out.
gravewalker only had references from your gallery to work off of, and I didn't want to spoil the surprise by asking you for a detailed description to go with. I think she did a great job at capturing your playful charm when making something to eat, and I'm pretty sure that Rodent is more than happy to be helping you out in the kitchen like this.

*Eeeps at the squeeze, bite and noms, before he giggles and hugs* For some reason, imagining you making a Rodent milkshake just seemed right. I'm glad to hear that I seemed to be correct in that assessment of what Kasha might do, even if it is just a syringe full of blood and not the whole thing. :)
And doing such things for others is what us rats do, especially for those we like. :)

Heh. I agree completely at the quality of this picture. Every time I look at it, I find some small detail that just really impresses me even more than the more obvious details. Whether it's the skull on the pant's button, or the other rodent parts in the bowl off to the side, or the way Rodent's fur sticking out between the fingers portrays how firm her grip is on Rodent; it just makes looking at the picture so much fun, even given the ultimate fate of the unfortunate rat. :D
