Some funny old man gave me this fishy Pokémon called a "Mah-ge-kar" or something, and tell me it's the coolest Pokémon in the world! It's so full of energy, I have to get it as my first Pokémon, after giving him some Rare Candies! :D The Elite Four will be no match for us! X3

Hehe I love it cx it looks awesome and adorable at the same time ^^ you may be able to catch'em all, but let's hope your diaper can "hold it all" x3 you better get a change before fighting Elite Four ^^; but at least you won't have to take any bathroom breaks! And that's truly the way to win :D hehehe
Magikarp will certainly give you an advantage, especially once it evolves into a powerful Dragon-/Water-type Gyarados that can Mega Evolve. Make sure to train it to Lv.75 before you take on the Elite Four and the Champion. Also make sure you have strong Pokémon of different types in your party, each with powerful moves learned for different strategies. And stock up heavily on Full Restores and Revives while having each Pokémon in your party hold a reusable item that boosts their stats, abilities, types, and moves. You'll win for sure!
Personally, my first choice for Starter Mega-Evolution Pokémon would be Riolu, which can evolve into a Fighting-/Steel-type Lucario. Then it would be Fennekin, Eevee, Vulpix, Zorua, and Growlithe to form my first team, with Riolu in the lead position.
Also, do you have a 3DS, along with a Generation VI Pokémon game (X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire)? If so, note me.
