The family of Nyktimus and his brothers did not die with the Ancient Greeks. Throughout history the descendants of Lycaon's children have been lurking in the background. Whether it be in the rowdy mob that surrounded the guillotine that was the center of the fiasco that was the beheading of Marie Antoinette, or on the boat that crossed the Potomac in the famous picture of General George Washington. Ioannes Lykaonagius is about to shatter that role.

Ioannes and his pack have survived the night of the Blood Moon. The unveiling of werewolves to the general public is cause for he, his pack and his family to worry. Ioannes is about to step into a role that will change history. Is he ready for the dreadful amount of responsibility that comes with this job? Is his plan enough to save his people?

So writing Nyctimus' story inside the Lykos universe was extremely fun. Though I was voluntarily limited by what wanted from the series, I truly enjoyed writing what became a year long journey through ancient Greece and Mt. Olympus. I decided to continue writing in this universe. It is so expansive and presents so many opportunities to write excellent stories. I am so glad to be able to do this. As always a big thanks to  Leo_Todrius ,  Trickster_D, and  Argouru for their contributions to such a lovely universe. Go ahead and read their entries into it: the original, Leo's new series: Alpha Rising, Trickster's series: Wild Things, and Argouru's series: Lone Wolf
