Finally, Phar the zeeby dragon is complete!
I've been working on this suit off and on since 2010. Started collecting furs and NFT in 2010, had the tail finished for FC 2011, and started the head foam carve in 2012. She's been a labor of love!
There are over 400 individual pieces, multiple varieties of black and white fur, and I haven't even tried to count all the stripes. Also, saberfire 3D printed the eye forms out of PLA, a first for us!
I had so much fun debuting her at FWA 2015!
Thanks for looking!

I do all my fursuit feet on water shoes, so they're pretty small and compact compared to slipper feet and they're easy to slide on/off. Then just used upholstery foam and headliner foam and shaped them the traditional way. I do aim for proportional feet and prefer smaller paws so I don't trip over them like snowshoes!
I know, my fingertips throb when I think about it. I figured out a good way to sew most of the stripes by machine, but all the curved stripes in the super seal fur and all the rounded stripe ends I ended up doing all by hand. I figured I was only ever going to make one zeebydragon, might as well go all out. :3
I initially was only gonna make like, three stripes, but then Bobby was all like, *whipcrack* must sew more! I cut apart the muslin pattern and for a moment honestly thought maybe I should've squeezed in a few more on the legs and arms but I think it turned out ok. ;)
