Germania - fan art WIP - latest version by Lachland-Night...
This is the one hundred and forty-fourth item, the one hundred and twenty-third art piece, the sixtieth original piece and the seventh piece for 2015, since the formation of the museum.
This is a piece of fanart that was originally drawn three years ago by
Lachland-Nightingale. The scene is supposed to show the aftermath of a rather nasty fight between Germania and a presently unseen opponent somewhere in the German mountains (I'm guessing he means the German Alps), near a gothic looking castle, in which Germania have emerged the victor, although wounded from the encounter.

The artist says that he plans to do a revision of the drawing since he doesn't think that it conveys what he was going for. I like it, but, I can't wait to see what the revision will look like.

i referred to "German mountains" to keep it vague - somewhat fictional - so i wouldn’t be tied down to drawing some particular peak in the various Alpine regions or finding one with a suitable ruined castle (a fantasy version of Baden-Baden mixed with Lichtenstien etc and whatever else)....
No idea what the revised version will end-up being....i'm thinking maybe something closer up on Germania...fire closer as well....maybe the sunset sky and mountain through a shattered stained-glass window....or something different...waiting for it to come to me....
