I will say, as the author, that the one, the only Estvan Silverbrush would have handled matters described in this episode far differently than Westersloe Winterbough V. For that matter, so would the Wolf Queen. For different reasons. I think.

Okay, scantly clad otter-natives, not Amazons. And while they know about fire, they don't know how to generate it, though their elder matriarch does know some impressive healing magicks. These guys are back -before- the Long Ago, it would appear. But Our Heroes are off on good footing, as long as the locals don't have weird expectations of their deities.
