Ooo-kays... I decided to sketch this out both as a gift for SonicStarH on Devart and because I thought the idea sounded cool...
HOWEVER!!
I fucked up royally on this one... ^.^;;;;
Basically, I forgot to take notes about how he was supposed to look when I wrote down to draw "Mephiles as Klonoa." I remembered the part about having the symbol of Solaris on his hat, but that was about it. So the funny thing is, I actually started drawing clothes on him in the sketch, but then remembered who I was drawing it for and figured that he probably wouldn't be wearing clothes... so I took them off the shirt and pants, then finished it this way. Then when I finally got to check the description again, I learned that he actually does wear a green colored version of Klonoa's outfit... Doh! >.<;;
Ah well... not a total loss I guess. He still has his gloves, shoes, and hat; plus the old-school collar which I thought he'd be wearing instead of the clothes. Though again, there lies the dilemma of the symbol of Solaris... I have no idea what that looks like and I couldn't find any referances online, so I just had to leave a blank space where it was supposed to go.
The last possible nit-picky thing I see is the Ring. I'm not sure if Mephiles is supposed to have one. But I just kinda figured that there was a possibility, given that he had taken on Klonoa's form AND that I believe he has Leorina working for him, that he may have produced a replica.
Huuuh, now I just hope the eyes and my shading job was enough to distinguish him from the real Klonoa.
I did better on the other two... XD
