A toy I remember playing with when I was a cub. I used to play with wooden blocks with letters on them, and wooden train sets too. That was back in the early 60s. :)

I wonder how many of my old toys could still be bought in stores today.

I may actually have some of the old blocks with the red letters on them hehe, I thought they were from the '70s or something

The ones I had in the 60s were made of wood and were 2-inches per side. The letters were raised from the wood and were painted in blue, red, yellow and green. Each side of the blocks were a different color with different letter or numbers on them. If I remember properly two of the faces had an image or a simple animal or object carved into them. I was always fascinated with arranging them by color or with the picture sides all facing the same, besides building cool towers with them. :)
