It looks like the background is -foggy-. Not exactly intentional, but it does look pretty cool. I like the expression in this- it reminds me of Ed from the lion king. And that's cool because Ed was definately the coolest hyena in the movie. Not photorealistic by any means, but it's about as close to 'realism' as one can get... with a green hyena.
