Madmen-Asylum longest night- 11 Persecutory Delusion
Next soon
For Madmen-Asylum: the Longest Night challenge: theme was Monomania/Persecutory Delusions. The ones who have an account on dA and wish to participate to this (and the next challenges) can still do it! I'm a judge and actually I can't win, this work is just to inspire you.
I chose my OC humanized Death Dancer (in her original universe she looks like in the work in my gallery, 'Kiss it, Autobot!') because she is perfect for paranoia. She lost her husband Death Blade during an attack from the Autobots and during that fight she lost their child. She wanted to take revenge against all the Autobots but since she became really paranoid she didn't trust to fight with other Decepticons and for centuries she fought alone. I guess it didn't help to make her mind very sane.
As human she would look like a badass and sexy punk girl. I chose the Acherontia atrops moth earring (which exists for real) because I thought of this old meme I did with her (still in my gallery 'Draw character as... Death Dancer') and because this little aggressive moth suits her a lot.
Eleven o'clock: Monomania/Persecutory Delusions
The term "monomania" existed in the earliest psychiatric literature as an umbrella term, meaning that the affected individual is afflicted by a single, profound and unwavering set of delusional beliefs. The term monomania has now being dismantled and reorganized into individual delusions. One of the most common delusions is known as the persecutory delusion where the affected person believes that harm is occurring or is going to occur. Similarly, they believe that there's someone out there with the intention of causing harm to him. This is sometimes termed “Querulant paranoia” where one person holds the strong belief that he is being excessively wronged by a third party.
Notable example: Ted Kaczynski, a.k.a. "The Unabomber" has spent most of his adult live living in an isolated cabin in the woods of Montana. His motive for bombing several well-known governmental buildings and universities is said to be a revolt against the overly-industrialized world, believing that it will ultimately lead to the destruction of human freedom. Most believe he suffered from persecutory delusions and paranoia.

I own humanized Death Dancer concept, not Transformers prime.
