I'm sorry, THIS was the last piece of work I did in 2007, the same month my brother died.

To understand this picture, you must first understand that it's a picture I drew of the last image that stuck in my mind from a dream I had yesterday. It's almost an exact of part of a dream I had yesterday, it's the ending part before I woke up.

About the dream:

It was the basic adventure type dream, save the world, take the magical item to a certain location recover my "abilities" and keep it from the bad guy and save the world in the end. lol

Anyways in this part of the dream I was hiding the item under my belly as I laid on the grass ground looking into a once upon a time large pond that was nothing more now than a puddle with lots of mud surrounding it. Across from me there was a dark dark forest, it was night. And a willow of soft lavenders and greens.

The item I had under my belly was suppose to be put into the water to retrieve my abilities but the bad guy in my dream was there with me and I couldn't do that when he was around or he'd take them so I hid it waiting for him to leave. The item was bark from a dream with ancient writing on it.

By laying on the moist grass part of the item got wet and the magic that was in it leaked, just a bit, into me. It was this spilling of magic into me that caused a fish, a beta of deep beautiful blue to appear, in the air, and it zoomed in on me and my arm examining me.

At this point I turned to look at the bad guy and said, "you know this fish is a meat eater?"

Then my alarm woke me. Yes I know, strange dream, but it was beautiful too, so I decided to draw it, it started out as a sketch and the more attention I paid to it the more I realized it'd look better digital, not that I can't draw or anything, but the colors I can achieve digitally are in my opinion much nicer, and less messy than paint.

So this is the end result. Keep in mind I wanted it to have a "Painted" look, and that I did this all with my mouse in Photoshop.
