I feel you for this..
I am almost 24.. It seems like yesterday I was only 16 and had my life ahead of me big dreams, hopes, and a future.
Now it's like what have I been doing with my life and where did it go.. It's depressing aging.

I feel like I went to bed sixteen-seventeen and woke up this age.
Like where'd the time go? And why'd no one tell me. XD

In times like these with so much stress, so many responsibilities, and so much that we were oblivious to as kids (I'm 22 as well), it's very easy to miss childhood. Just try to keep in mind that no matter what has happened these past 22 years, everything that you've ever experienced has shaped you into who you are today. Are you happy with that? Yes? Then great! You don't have to be happy about aging, but you can be happy with who you've become. No? Then you have plenty of time to change that! :) I hope I've helped even just a little *hugs*

I feel yah. I'll be 25 this year...I had planned on settling down and to start thinking about having kids by this age. Now I look at my life and I'm like: "L0L the fuck am I even doing? What is this shit?"
Being an adult is hard M'kay. I don't know how some make it look so damn easy. I still feel like I just graduated high school... :'D

Adult life certainly isn't at all what I was "promised" it would be, but if one truth can come out of what I've been told about it, it's that time really does goes by too quickly as you get older.

Happy Birthday though! As crappy as it can be getting older you kinda just have to count what blessing you do have, be they big or small. *hugs*

It's crazy how fast the years go by; but you know.. the good, the bad, it's life.
I'm very blessed to have had a good chunk of good in my life and still do.
(And my family was sweet and unexpectedly took me out to eat and bought me beautiful new headphones ;w; so all together it definitely improved my mood)
