Well, I went to school for Meteorology/Atmospheric Science so anything weather related is pretty interesting to me. :)

Really? Where at? I went to Plymouth State in New Hampshire then Texas Tech in Lubbock for my grad studies.

Sweet ^_^ I'm currently working my way through Central Mich. Univ. for my B.S. in Meteorology (minor in Mathematics and GIS). Not sure that my grades are good enough for a Master's but I'm looking to intern at the NWS in Detroit this coming summer and at least get my foot in the door. I still have a few years (because of the way the program is set up what should be a four-year degree is actually a six or seven year degree, lol)

That's cool. I would honestly have rather had more real world experience such as interning or something along those lines. Grad studies are good, but honestly I don't use too much of that knowledge in my daily work. Also, I won't say grades don't matter, but a few of the people I went to undergrad with had much lower grades than me and are doing as well as or better than me currently, so don't let that deter you any. Hope things go well for you. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk more on this stuff. :)

haha, I did the same thing over the summer, I have a short video somewhere that I took of some lightning, but I don't think I actually captured something that looks as neat as this.

I honestly didn't think I would with mine either. I was pleasantly surprised ^_^
