An easier way for a flopped ear would be to carve it like the other ear,
then when you fur it, weight it down so it's capable of seriously flopping.
By weight it I mean like, a couple quarters hot glued to the inside of the ear at the tip.
This way it just flops over and is floppy instead of a still foam flop.
