And this is part two of one of my pieces for my final in Art for college. The idea was that we were supposed to draw a concept piece for either Utopia or Dystopia. This is Utopia, my version, as the two souls have joined again in death and continue to walk together. It's like the flip side of living, dying with your friend, lover, etc.
This piece was hard for me to do because my grandfather died this weekend so this piece really touched me. It's sad to say but I can see him as one of the figures walking away with someone that met him next to his grave.
Those tomb stones though...and that fence. I did the fence twice because I did the fence before I whited out the sky...It was annoying. The tomb stones were hard just because of all the shading and mixing to get the gray I wanted. I really like the white pants though, it adds a charm that I can't explain. Hope you enjoy.
