And they begin rebuilding their shelter after the hurricane. I doubt that wood-repair is going to be a destabilizing technology; and of course, the whole Noble Savage thing is a bit cliche. they may know things about nature that the more technological have forgotten - but technology supports more people, in more comfort, and in better health when it's all said and done.
