but whats MHP2G?

I wish my computer could play MMORPGS ;-;

PSP game, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G.

There's a PC version, Monster Hunter Frontier, but an english server and setup has not been announced yet.

Monster hunter, Its a great game! Atleast on my PSP.. Although I really suck at it. Though combining stuff is fun.

I think I heard that they were planning on bringing it over soon. Can't wait to try it out myself if it's true!

Monster hunter 2nd G has been announced for europe/america under the title MHF:Unite!, not sure for the date, also the new PS3 patch should allow psp players to use their console as a router for online play :3

MHFU should be out Spring 2009, according to wiki.

Unfortunately it doesn't have the same treatment at 2G. No special Narugakuruga strap.

Warriors aren't very appreciated no matter what game...:(

GAH! good game! i have the ISO for it on my PSP, i haven't gotten very far in it though....i picked up a DS Lite and Pokemon & Spore....been messing with those as of late!

I made a baby tigrex quest back in my MHP2 days, its the most ADORABLE thing ever.
it like, sprints along the ground, as fast as it can (1 mph >.>) then leaps and goes "omnom" at your ankles.
I play 2g now though, and have been too lazy to find all the stuff needed to make custom quests :C

Hey, I hunt monsters! I got me a patched ISO, and finished the Village elder quests, and nearly finished the first set of Guild quests. D'you use Xlink, or whatever? Wanna' hunt some critters some time? Solo is Sooo 'ronry.

I'd be more than happy to have other hunters on board, and my new laptop has bluetooth so I don't need an xlink dongle, but I'd rather wait till June when Freedom Unite is slated to be out.

At least I know I won't start naked when it does, I still have my freedom 3 chars saved.

Actually, 2nd G (aka Freedom unite) has a dandy little translation patch some nice folks put out for us. It is really easy to set up, so if you're impatient like me and have a modded PSP, you could always patch 2nd G. Normally you cant transfer your characters from English Freedom 2 to Jap 2nd G, but there is another delightful little conversion process you can do to make your Freedom 2 file Japanese and thus transferable.

Heh, also I'm a fair bit further again than I was last. Runnin with mostly S rank armour with quick sharpening and eating. Mostly fighting with the Scythe of Malice.
