During the GMW, the Nomads utilized these small automated drones, the size of an average man. They were used for spying and scouting on the enemy in small numbers, and in great numbers they were a swarm of machines, built to clear the trenches and flush the human soldiers out.

Dystonia is an idea of mine of a continent where science fiction, horror, dystopian fiction and other such things are all part of one timeline.
