I've known about it for a long time, and I've adored gemology/mineralogy almost my entire life. (It all stemmed from my birthstone, opal. My mum got me a tiny opal ring when I was a toddler to wear at special occasions but I was so amazed by it that I insisted on wearing it all the time and the fascination just grew from there)
But I didn't start watching all the episodes until FWA- and holy SMOKES it's so awesome.
But now there's like two sides to my fandom- the canon side and the dark, noncanon crackpairing side 8C I am a horrible person oh no

I watched like- an episode and a half before now but never knew much of anything about the show, but I've always LOVED gems/minerals. But at FWA my group all watches SU and kept talking about it.
And one of the nights Lily and Cam asked if I wanted to watch the newest episode with them and as soon as I got home I watched the other fifty-something in like three days. IT HAPPENED SO FAST.

I hate the shit she did in the show, but the character is so unique and dynamic and she has so much potential for fanart ;w; I'd totally draw her just being a buff jerkface but I also kinda have this huge temptation to draw her hitting on other gemladies, like Peridot or Lapis. DOES THIS MAKE ME A HORRIBLE PERSON ASLD:KFJSD:F

Of course it doesn't make you horrible haha.
And honestly, what she did to Stephen was mostly to knock him out and she thought he was rose, but honestly, Lapis and Peridot have openly tried to kill him. And Jaspers really the only one out of the three that didn't kill him, mostly just detained him.
Sure she's a jerk face, but I mean, there is still some great characteristics to her. I hope she and lapis comes back 838

I-I may be considering doing patreon revolving around fanart from stuff? ;w; Not sure how patreon works at all but from what I understand you just pay people by pledging certain amounts to see them draw a certain thing. I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE MY STUFF IS PATREON WORTHY?!

Yeah patreon is epeople pledge X amount each month and depending on what they pay you give them certain goods
Like 5$ a month they get to see extra content maybe and then 10$ get entered into a "free drawing" for some art and what not, all depends on what you want to give!
some give out special tutorials for certain pledges, others extra secret streams; etc etc uwu
On the subject of worth it tho? Totally, i'd back ya if I had at least steady funds (only money comes from commissions which varries too much to do a lot of monthly sub stuff >n>)
