just a simple tutorial on how i do my work, really. This one was done with a subtractive method as far as shading goes.
So basically I have my shading layer above my base colors and linework, set as a multiply layer, and then instead of painting over it, i start erasing from it to show the colors beneath it.
But on most of my work, i will start painting above my shadow layer with differing hues of the base color, but not the base color itself. And I use these brushes to do it (which you sadly have to pay for now): http://scent-of-shadows.deviantart......shes-145692409
but yeah
enjoy? xD
also, painting is this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10509768/
