And horny is indubitably an emotion! Meesh once described his art as erotica, and he said that he did really think it was art, but that the only difference was that he was trying to get arousal instead of an emotional response from his viewers.

I didn't really like that. There's sex scenes in LOTS of novels that have been new york times bestsellers. I think you're capable of getting an emotional response outside of arousal (though that's great too). It takes more then just a drawing to make a piece hot. It needs some reality behind it. Some real emotion. :D
