I made this as a wedding gift for a dear friend of mine. The red dragon is meant to be her dragon character that she draws most often to represent herself sometimes wile the black dragon is meant to be her husband as a dragon...but i think i made him look more feminine then i meant to :P I was really happy with how this turned out though there are some flaws in it. The glass ball that i have between them reacted a bit weird wile the figure was baking and made the clay that was hear it stay a little soft for some reason. The glass itself didn't change at all from when it went in the oven however which is what i was really worried about. I feared it would explode or something but thankfully it did not. The chain, heart gem, and glass ball as well as the clay i use were all gotten at hobbie lobbie. The glass beads i used for eyes were gotten at either hobbie lobbie or wall mart...i can't quite remember. I had a beautiful heart shaped tin i was going to glue them to but i decided not to seeing as the hole in the glass ball could make it easily used as a light in a way if the right bulb was put in it. I would have also taken a better image if my camera did hate the color red :P you can't really see but there are details on both dragons. I will post a close up of the faces soon.
