No, he's quite alive, even though he did spend about 5 hours sleeping on my shoulder, under my shirt today. Yeah, Tegus are very social, very intelligent, and they love human attention.

Very cute. I was always told that Tegu's were quite aggressive. This definitely proves the opposite. ^_^

Ahh, the Colombian Tegus are the aggressive, hateful bastards, but mine is an Argentine Black and White Tegu. He's a sweetie, but a bit of a lump. X3 Guess that's why I love him.

Thinking about it eh? Well I don't want to say it was an impulse on my part, but I just knew, and the shopkeeper knew that we just clicked the second Spark and I met. It's important that an animal like and trust you, and that you like and trust it enough, before you buy it. Personally, I will let him sleep in my shirt, flick and lick at my tongue back, and give him little tongue-rubs, because we trust eachother enough to not hurt the other (because dude, he has RAZOR serrated teeth).

Overall, just make sure you're ready to take on the task of having something that's one day going to be as big as you.

His stomach will slowly lose the orange color as he grows. He's got a little copper around the snout as of recent, and it's really nice on him. ;3
