or played one. my sore loser of an opponent said "That's not how to win a game." 'Oh? Why is that a valid win condition then?' my three decks I use nowadays are blue/green. one is the infect deck, almost straight outta the box, the other is grave power, I added a swamp (yes, exactly one), a few black cards with blue or green flashback, four stone seeder heirophants, and four thawing glaciers. my third is landless dredge. not manaless dredge, I have a few chrome moxes and lion's eye diamonds to still play something if someone uses rest in peace on me...which the one tournament I used it in, three of my four opponents used that. of course, I got last in that one.
My brother's was Dimir mill. Traumatize, mill half your deck, Consuming Aberration that's now probably bigger than 30/30. Rogue's passage, making Consuming Aberration unblockable.
But mill is typically kind of slow.
With extreme luck my Izzet deck once had a Nivmagus Elemental at 9/10 by the end of turn 2. And each time it hit it would gain +8/+8 more.

I'm staying away from this. I know nothing about Magic the Gathering (except Duel Masters was a knock off).
I'm more of a You-Gay-Hoe-I mean Yu-Gi-Oh player (and I haven't played that in ages).
I really should at least study the rules for Magic the Gathering though. I am trying to come up with my own parody game that's based on about 5 different collectible card games, poker, and possibly a few other traditional card games. As soon as I create my "Game to end all games", I am going to probably write a series about it that mainly pokes fun at the Yu-Gi-Oh series. (but that's a ways off yet) (I have a rough copy though!)
