[Sketch] Spring Wo Nushi, The Childcaring one.
This is a panda I made for 
MattFolfsky which was with great pleasure and fun! It was really fun and interesting to draw a fertile panda! I wanted to make something cute and peaceful more than anything. I'm really happy of the result! :3
This Pandantern is named Spring Wo Nushi, She's one of the High Priestesses of the temple Ree Zhair (which is the temple of ground fertility and flowers) in the Blaih Dhor Village ( specialized in ground culture and high quality vegetables). Her Occupation is to take care of the education and the raising the children and Orphans, As you can see her love for childrens brought her to make some of her own, she can't live without being surrounded by little Pandaterns. She's one of the most fertile of her kind in the village, explaining who big she got now or she can get, Her motherhood and childcaring might give her another chance to have some more little ones in the future.
Her Calm and quiet behavior made her one of the most appreciated priestesses in her small village. As a priestess of the Ree Zhair temple she also in charge of the nature around the village to keep its fruits and vegetable unique in their kind, And Spring is one of the most fitted pandantern for the role. Her Food speciality is the wheat Protein bars when she enchant them, it gives her the ability of ground fertiliy, which makes the farm fields and the nature bear the most unique fruits and vegetables known all around Pandanteria. The high Priestess is the heart of the village holding the fertility of lands, just like herself, making Spring the symbol of Fertility of her land.

C'est une pandantern pour MattFolfsky! elle était bien fun a faire! Je me suis tellement bien éclater avec elle! J'ai voulu faire une panda très fertile et la dessiner de façon mignonne et sereine. Et je suis super content du résultat!

Well those Beads above their heads are their antenneas, It's part of their body, not of their outfit! XP
Let me explain as short as Possible:
What's makes them Really unique is their antennas. Their Antennas are the heart and the soul of the pandanterns...
They are the Lanterns of what they seek, They are the their lantern. The antenna tip Which looks like a huge jade pearl is actually changing color and start to bright where they are close to what they seek or want! Which were their names come from the Panda + Lanterns If someone cut the antennas off or remove them, the panda will loose all faith in life and hope, Because without those he/she will be wandering like a child lost in a forest, It's like they lost their own souls or reason to live, because a Pandatern without Antenna is worst than death.
the reason why those weird antennas, It's because it's their lanterns for what they seek the Panda are all powerless and cannot learn any magical power. BUT the main reason the panda are so amazing is that with their antennas, they found the answer of this huge lack of power. They Learned to Enchant the food, with ingredients they mix in their food to give them power for a very limited time (from 10 sec to 10 mins). With their antennas, they find the ingredients they need to enchant their food to get a special ability by eating it. Those abilities or power are most of the time Utilitary or completely silly, rare are the powers that can harm a someone. This particular ability of the pandas to enchant food only works on them for some reason.
Once again The powers can be used at will when they eat thier own enchanted food... BUT! They can't do it repetivily, because it's energy consuming and abusing the powers cause the panda in question to faint. Power will never harm it's user but It might cause to faint. But It depends on the Pandantern, The longer their antennas are, the longer they can use or re-use the power Because it means a great amount of "Ki". But there is still exception, some short antennas have the ability to re-use the power a bit more than any regular pandas.
