
Some more Merideth game stuff. I should probably make a blog for this.
Thought about her picking up items and throwing them but I didn’t know how to implement it so I thought “why doesn’t she just absorb things and use them as projectiles”
So there’s two types of attack. An area of effect portal, and a “throw”. Maybe one more button to flip between projectile types. Each level could have a small set of different types to flip between. Obviously they have different physical properties to faff around with. Bombs, bouncy beach balls, rocks, balloons. I think it’ll be fun.

Yeah you have a small inventory now (if I can figure out how to handle that)
You can throw as many as you can hold. So you might have many skulls but might want to reserve your bombs.
For the rare few items like stones maybe the last one thrown disappears to keep a maximum of whatever you got so far in the level.
I'm thinking a lite shooter with hazards and puzzles.
