For the latest version of D&D, there's an article on playing Gnolls, a race which are basically anthro hyenas, with some demon blood mixed in. They're generally bloodthirsty human-eating savages, and the article alleges that some of them breed with Cacklefiend Hyenas (hyena demons) to keep the demon blood in thier progeny strong.

I like to think that they at least ask the demon hyenas on a date first. :)
