Everything is perfect.
She rolled over and looked at the clock. 7:15 Ugh, to early for her. She contemplated rolling back over and trying to go back to sleep, but he wasn't there, and sleep always came easier in his arms.
With a heavy sigh the blonde sat up, surveying the room she’d known as hers for almost a year now. Fucking socks. Socks everywhere. She smiled quietly to herself and shook her head.
The sound of plastic hitting porcelain drew her attention to the bathroom on the other side of the room. Quietly she got up and padded over to the door way.
There he was, towel still tied around his waist as he concentrated on his reflection, making sure he did everything just right. Always the perfectionist.
She couldn't help but smile. Seemed like just yesterday he was on the floor almost in tears, hopeless that he’d always be stuck the way he was born. It’d had been a long road, but standing in that door way, seeing him now, seeing him happy. complete. right. Made everything worth it. He got up in the morning and went to work, went to events, went every where more confident and with a smile on his face. He was finally him. Inch for inch the man he always knew he was.
It’s simple moments like this that made her so happy she was his, made her so thankful she could see that smile. The kind of smile that only came from him for special reasons.
Unable to contain herself any longer she walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his lean and muscular frame.
“Good morning Handsome.”
“Hey there gorgeous, you’re up early. Everything ok?”
She paused for a moment, a smile spreading across her features.
“Yea. Everything's ok. Everything’s perfect.”
