I think she's a breath of fresh air, compared to the constant streams of Mudokon OCs. I'm not saying they're bad or anything, but it is a nice change. :D

Yeah, they're probably popular cuz everybody wants to be "the Chosen One", or they want to be the mystical race, or maybe they identify more with the oppressed Mudokons than the more industrial races, despite many of the creators being from industrialized countries, isn't that odd?

Nik-Nik isn't a "Chosen One", she just sees things that are wrong, and does something about it. As a four-armed freak, she can empathize better with the Mudokons than a regular, deep-pocketed Glukkon could. Plus, with four arms, she's pretty agile, so she'd make a great action/adventure heroine.

That is a bit odd, but also very interesting. It's also probably because it's a popular race too. I thought about it too, but I'm more towards Sligs and Outlaws! >8D

I like that idea very much. It's different, and isn't the same cliche of 'The chosen one who must save the race'. Nik-Nik is just in trouble/or sees trouble, and just sorts it out, like the good lady she is! >8V Ha, when you say four arms, I imagine her giving Mullock a constant wave of slaps to the face. Yeah, I can see why Mudokons are popular. Mystical powers and all that. You probably know that I like Glukkons the best, Vykkers are a close second! Maybe I'll draw Imogene again. Sligs and Outlaws are cool, too.

Yeah, seriously, if everybody just waited around for a "Chosen One" nothing would get done. I can just see Mudokons be all, "No thanks, we're gonna wait here for Abe to save us." and Nik-Nik just anime side-glances them.

Well, being a huge Oddworld fan, I love ALL of their species. But Outlaws and Sligs are my spirit-animals. XD Glukkons and Vykkers are totally wicked too! I cannot wait to see them in Soulstorm. (Unsure about the Vykkers, but Aslik, Dripik and Phleg.

xD The Muds will be sitting there for years until they're skeletons, and Nik-Nik is saving the world in the background.

XD Yeah. Or, she gets tough and tries dragging them away, to which security Sligs would just be staring at them in confusion.

xD That should be a comic or something. Nik-Nik saves Oddworld in the most easiest and most common-sense fashion, all while everyone else is going through trails and all that jazz.

:D That'd be great! She could even go up to Abe and Munch and be all "y'know you guys don't need to go through all this just to save people, right?" and the mystics are all "Uh, don't listen to her! Now, stick your hands inside this bowl of scrab feces!" (cue eyerolling from Nik-Nik)

xD Poor Abe and Munch. I bet even they want to take the easier route.

:) Yeah, being the chosen...two must suck, cuz they have to go through all this crap just to prove they're chosen.
