This is an older song, as evidenced by the date, but I'm just going back through all of my older recordings to submit some... sub-par stuff while I wait to resolve my sound card issues.
This song is partially based on fact, and partially not.... I like to take subjects specific to me and generalize them a bit so others can connect with them more easily....

I do quite understand... honestly, it helped me in regards to simply getting things off of my chest- I often write things out in songs that I otherwise don't bother saying. From that standpoint, listening to things like this do bring back a twinge of that pain... but by the same token, it's a sort of validation to know that I've gone on this long, so that pain is best kept in the past, and in the song. ^^ If that makes sense....
it does :3 i just have a hard time sleeping when i think of certain people and she's one of them. honestly, she's the only one, but others make me think of her which makes it just as bad, lol. i used to keep a journal just about how she hurt me and it kinda helped, but after a while it hurt too much to see the words as i scrolled down to add another day... i like sad songs that resemble my feelings, this one's just way too exact to do so without reminding me of her, lol
