Ok not the clerverest of names but fitting right. So here it is my latest finished clay sculpture. This impressive beast is about 17 inches long, tons of scales, no idea how many. I tried giving him some scenery to stand on and so I made this pride rock type of landscape. No idea what im doing when it comes to making landscapes and rocks but i think it turned out pretty well. He is made from super sculpey clay. with a thick wireframe armature underneath surrounded by foil and floral wire and yes those scales were made and put on one at a time. :)
