Peter Venkman may not be an animal like most furries (Well, unless party animal counts! ;)), but a lot of us furries grew up on the show he hailed from, Real Ghostbusters. In addition, his mom's a raccoon! (Translation:  gabbicoon designed Peter and the other Real Ghostbusters characters) And his biggest fan is a wolf!

With all that under his belt, it's only fair that Peter's considered an honourary furry in his own right! :) In addition, he's having a ball meeting all sorts of new friends and finding new critters to play with!
