I think the non-skin toned feet work a lot better than the skin coloured one. But then again...I'm not a major fan of Skin coloured feet on Sonic Characters.

Yea. I've been reading up on the comics and saw glimpses of a few characters who were shown barefoot. None of them had flesh colored feet, so I tried doing the same. :3
