Messing around with some textures I created, been experimenting with creating planet textures lately.

I should really get around to drawing stuff again soon.

Nice, I've also made a ringed planet like this a few months ago but it was using Photoshop with photos and filters. I haven't had enough experience with Max or Blender's renderers to get something that looks good.

I made the planet and rings texture in Photoshop, the planet itself was rendered by using a composite texture with a falloff for the atmosphere. I can give you some pointers if you want?
