Now to start lots and lots of layers. I have outlined most of the scale work with a midrange green, the washed yellow over it. Most of the background is a moss darkish green and I want the dragon to pop . there will be lots and lots of layers of dark and light from this point on. As well as glazing colours over the detail work. The brush lying on top is the one I've used for the detailing work. I wanted to show a shot at this point because things will move along very quickly now and with the sun going down I can't take any more progress shots. I'm pleased you guys are enjoying this!
