Moonblossom's are living magical catalysts and their stomachs are a magical blackhole, which can sustain their lifeforce near-indefinitely (so long as they keep eating living creatures and aren't killed) by means of absorbing the energy of living things placed inside of it. No magic or special abilities work inside of their stomachs. And the soul of the person inside stays trapped there until the moonblossom decides to release it... or digests it. So if you die to digestion inside the stomach, your soul is trapped there. Forever. No inside or outside forces (short of cutting them open from the Outside) can penetrate the barrier.

The only direct counter to this... is to not get eaten by one. XP
