I'm quite into equine anatomy, and the chest looked weird but I didn't want to say before seeing the photo because I expected it will look weird there too due to the unusual posture and view - and it does.
Now, I hope you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism. I like it and that's why I dared to give you some feedback in hopes that you don't take offense.
So, while it's a weird enough pose already on its own, causing the unnatural-ish looking sticking out breast on the photo, on your painting that appears even stronger. Notice how on the photo, from the middle (front-back wise) of the body the chest maintains a relatively even width and the bottom of it still has a slight outward curve. On yours however, this curve is missing and the chest is slightly narrowing towards the front. I would curve that part out a bit and try to maintain that width of the chest, and probably bring the front of the chest a tiny bit back to further soften the sharpness of the shape. Another thing is that the hind legs are too large compared to the rest of the body.
Other than these, it looks pretty cool! :)
