Just a small remark, doesn't his tail look too long? Like the tail of a genet or a lemur. I think he had much smaller tail in the movie.

I didn't want to stay entirely on-model. His legs and face are quite a bit different too. In hindsight I think it would've looked better to be as accurate as possible but then again Its really important I learn to do exaggerated character designs.

I pretty much winged it for the most part. In hindsight I probably should've spent a bit more time giving it attention considering its a pretty important part of the character. Oh well. I'll probably end up painting him again at some point.

Oh man! I wouldnt mind seeing a Guardians of the Galaxy 2 where it was focused more on Rocket and groot!

I got the artbook for GotG and its sooo good! Really love the designs and paintings in it!

I love this guy, not just because he's a racoon (walking talking coon), but just because of his personality and the character it's tied too.

Great fan art, I absolutely love it :D
