Nishi did a very thoughtful thing for my Star Day this year. And, with the announcement on whether-or-not we'll be presenting at BronyCon very soon to come, I thought I'd start sharing some of it.
As most of you know, I've been working a lot with
aricub on her series of stories based on Fall, Pint, and Bucky. It has been my hope to help her get more attention for these fascinating characters and their story. This has brought me to post the works on here, Deviant Art, and FiM Fiction.

FiM Fiction may not be a site where I get the most appreciation or attention. But it is very organized when it comes to story submissions. Plus formatting is maintained. So, if there is a work you'd like to read, read it on there and save your eyes some strain.

Experimentation is a wonderful way to diversify your characters while coming up with new ones.
What is fun is trying an outfit, or design, with one of your characters, learning it doesn't quite work, but then getting that jolt of inspiration that says, "But, if I did this, I could...".

Thanks for the time you've taken to read "Night Fall" and all the other works I've done. Knowing you enjoy the work makes me double happy as it means I did a good job for you as a reader and by aricub for portraying her characters in a way in which makes someone wish to know more.

I'm not going to lie. This is my favorite Yosh picture of all. This was the first one I looked from you in Fimfiction Yosh. I know this is really hard to judge for you and of course it is at the same time really subjective, but I find that this Yosh representation is the happiest of all and I like pretty much how it is a kind of mix between pony and dragon. I just reminded that I have pending doing a drawing of Yosh inspired in this design. I'll have to do it soon.
I will have to let Nishi know that, thanks to him, we were able to find each other and become close friends. It is certainly wonderful learning what it was that made you think, "I really would like to get to know this person more?".

I will say "Diapers... Please" is what got me interested in what you do. Though our friendship really got started when I came across your padded Spike pictures. The way you discuss your art really got my interest. What makes your work so special, most importantly your art, is it is your art that I first came to enjoy without any physical eyesight. Being able to enjoy art in which I do not have a previous point of reference was something I thought I would not be able to do...
...Until your passion for art and cuteness made my imagination go into super speed. :)

A final note is how, given Nishi made this picture, is how we became friends based on our mutual love for the character, Oxnard, from "Hamtaro". A friend told me to check out his work when I first started on FA in 2008. Once I got on his page and saw that his avatar icon was Oxnard, I just knew I had to try and get to know him. We are now super close friends and will have been friends for 13 years come this November.
