(Not shown here are his tattoos, which were decided upon after the initial picture was done. Later pictures of him are more correct.)
Hex is my most transplanted character, his personality moving from one genre and storyline to the next nearly seamlessly.
This one... is a little different. He's still Hex, but not the same one as grew up with his sister in a loving family.
This beast-man was kidnapped at a young age from his family group by a team of explorers, around the 1800s, and taken to be part of a sideshow in a circus act. There, he was horribly mistreated, chained up and left in a cage, with little contact, hardly enough food, and far too little light.
Rory Dunkirk, of Dunkirk's Mythic Menagerie, discovered the sideshow, and blackmailed the circusmaster for custody of the beast-man, which he received, and he gladly took the creature to a better life, and one where he could be properly educated.
Rory gave the beast-man a name that suited him, because 'he's a hex I brought upon myself, though sometimes I question whether it may be dubbed good or evil.'
The beast-man came to be known as Hex from that day forward.

Seems like we like doing that with our characters, I stick Bahamut in different themes and stories as well, heh.
Yikes, that doesn't look good, have to feel sorry for him in this situation. Interesting story for him in this situation, would be interesting to see more if you ever had the time.
Nice work, I really like the posing here and the details look really good.
