Boris and Tenebra might hate the stereotypes and prejudices they have to endure, but darn if they don't come in handy sometimes. For poor Rene, in the wrong place at the wrong time overhearing the wrong conversation, curiosity might have killed the... vulpix.
Haven't done any of these in a while, hoping to get back to them. Cameos all c. their owners of course, it's like Where's Waldo, with pokemon!

She learned to read from college textbooks and she didn't survive as long as she did by being stupid. She's actually taking only the minimal number of battle classes at the school, the rest is made of up literature and philopsophy classes.
Her grades aren't exactly the top percentage of the class, but yeah, she's pretty bright.

I think you've been planning this one for quite a while, am I right? Anyway, everyone looks fantastic. Nice to see that not everyone quakes with fear when faced with Tenebra, or Boris for that matter.
Though you've got to admit, interrupting a Koffer mid-thought is rather low brow tactic for this level of intellectualism. ;>

Rene: WHAT DID *I* DO?! *Faints*
Haha! AWESOME! This is so great! Nice seeing Tenebra speak more than a line and get to show off her brain. And debating with Boris is so cool!
The cameos are cool. I also like Tenebra's pose in the second panel. And of course Rene just HAS to stick his snoz in....did they just not want an interruption in their philosophical debate or is it just too much fun to scare the pants off Rene?

Of course anyone in the right mind would know Dystopia when seeing her :P After all that Char seems to be getting a lot more popular <_<;;;;;; HAH!
And homg I laughed so hard. Yes, do not be in the wrong place, at the wrong time and overhear something XD I've done it a couple times and had to slowly back away for fear of my own life because of the death glares :P
<Aziz sighs and goes to drag Rene off> Crazy fox...

I love how you did this comic. In this world, dark pasts are (almost ) left completely behind, making the fact that she's a shadow pokemon completely irrelevant.
Out of all the sides I've seen from Tenebra, I like her bookish side the most, but I'm still hoping she has an artist side buried somewhere deep inside her as well.

Oh, and one other thing I'd like to ask:
With all the characters and backgrounds, about how long did it take you to draw and color this page? What program(s) did you use?
I'm trying to see if I can match your coloring style and timing myself using GIMP to see if I can produce similar color jobs in a reasonable time frame, for future PCA work.

What's more dangerous than a thug?
An intelligent thug.
Not saying that these two are thugs, because they're not. This pic just reminded me of that. I have no idea where I heard it from sadly.
It is nice to see more sides to their personalities than breaking things and scaring people. XD

Heh... when it comes to hidden intellectuals, it'd be amusing to seeing Lina walking by and adding to this conversation...
<Lina> Tenebra, you're seriously overlooking Dustovsky's impact- he was far more widely read than his contemporaries at the time, and while your argument that his thesis wasn't terribly original or well-written might be valid, he has a more significant on the culture at the time, hardly classifying him as "Trivial". Why do you think Stantlovich bothered to summarize him in the first place?
