Reminds me of a story my mom told me. When she was a kid, she loved ducks. Ducks are her favorite animal. When she was young, her parents gave her a number of ducklings for her to have. Always living in the city and being young, she assumed ducks loved water, and put the ducklings in a bucket of water... not knowing that eventualy, you have to take them out. Sadly, they all drowned because she left them there assuming they would be fine. She said she cried for weeks over it and she still gets upset thinking about it today.
