As the prince of Oz, Baum now and then has to prove to his father he'll have what it takes to one day be king. This often includes having to perform acts of diplomacy with neighboring countries such as Wonderland. Baum is sitting down to tea with Zataan, the Cheshire Cat and self-appointed guide to Wonderland. Being a cheshire cat with a penchant for literally popping in and out of places, Zataan isn't too happy about King Frank's shoot first, ask questions later policy. Baum is explaining that the hammerhead tribes in the south are leading a resistance and their heads shoot out of their bodies faster than any bow or firearm so the guards need practice and ask if there are no hard feelings.
